Responding to 'Generation Anthropocene':
So pleased to be part of this multi-disciplinary response to Robert Macfarlane's article, 'Generation Anthropocene' - now available for perusal in the Open Library of Humanities at: https://olh.openlibhums.org/articles/10.16995/olh.153/
New monograph now available
My first monograph, Intermedial Praxis and PaR, which shares writing and documentation from my practice-as-research project in live intermediality was published as part of the Palgrave Pivot series in November 2016:
I am a live media practitioner-researcher and teacher, based in Salford, Greater Manchester. I completed my practice based PhD at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 'live intermediality' and I am now working as a lecturer in performance at the University of Salford.
After initially studying Theatre and English at the University of Glasgow, I trained as a teacher and worked as an international educator, teaching Drama and Theatre in a variety of contexts from Portugal to Singapore and many places in between.
On returning to the UK in 2010 I completed an MA (Distinction) in Performance Practices and Research at Central. My work on the course was the starting point for developing a live intermedial performance practice, which formed the basis for my PhD thesis and is the subject and vehicle of the research which I continue to pursue.
